SFI Rotterdam BV was founded in 1977 by the current owner Dirk Schulz.

Ever since the beginning SFI  has concentrated her activities on the import of overseas fruit. The company has positioned herself over the years  as one of the major global importers in Europe operating mainly from the Rotterdam harbour.

SFI Rotterdam BV is a privatly owned and family run company and has never been subject to mergers or takeovers.
